Caterina focuses on a direct and honest client approach, as she believes that a constructive and transparent relationship is key to successful project development. She is enthusiastic for a design approach that integrates creativity and practicality, and promoting involvement of all team members to maintain high standards throughout a project.

A Fully qualified architect, Caterina graduated from the Welsh School of Architecture in 2002, followed by a Diploma in Architecture in 2004.  In 2014 she completed a Masters in Built Environment: Sustainable Heritage at the Bartlett School, UCL, gaining an in-depth knowledge of the heritage and conservation fields, maintenance and care of collections, studies on materials and assemblies, stakeholders’ involvement, management plans, sustainability standards. Working closely on live projects with UNESCO and National Trust.  Working with English Heritage and Heritage Malta was a major highlight of this course.

Caterina has worked for major architecture and interior design practices in Cardiff, Dublin and London where, whilst working for Perkins and Will, she was part of the team who completed new offices for Generation Investment Management, a company whose core value is sustainability. Thus the agenda was to minimise the carbon footprint, use highly sustainable materials and ensure staff well-being through a strong architect-staff interaction during the process. The project was highly commended for Environmental Excellence in 2012.

Caterina loves new challenges and has a thirst for knowledge and experience brought on by her international background, having studied and worked in several countries, including Italy, Belgium, the UK, Ireland and Germany, of which she speaks the languages.
