We have been working with an Academy School in Lincolnshire on an exiting new scheme to demolish their existing sports hall which is no longer fit-for-purpose and to erect a new sports hall with NBA sized basketball court and disabled changing facilities. The site is located within a conservation area and the proposed building falls within the curtilage of several listed buildings. We have therefore worked closely with the school to develop a contemporary scheme that is sympathetic to the adjacent buildings.
Evans and James started working with the school from options development, creating options drawings and an associated options appraisal for submission to funding providers. We worked collaboratively with other external consultants in order to deliver a holistic report. The preferred option has been further developed into a full planning application. We hope to gain planning permission for the development in due course.
