Evans & James have been successful in obtaining planning permission for the construction of a new build bungalow in Great Gonerby.  The clients bought a property which has a small cottage to the front of the land with the intention to build their dream home to the rear of the land which came with the cottage.

The bungalow will have two bedrooms and a study along with fantastic open plan living. High on the clients brief was vaulted ceilings to the open plan living areas, plenty of light and a large master suite with dressing room and ensuite.

The boundary of the site forms the boundary of the Great Gonerby Conservation Area.  Evans & James therefore submitted a Historic Impact Assessment with the application considering any impacts the development could have on the adjacent conservation area.  We therefore ensured our submitted scheme was sympathetic to this with low overall roof heights.
