Stephanie Hall-Stead | Director & Heritage Consultant

Stephanie is a chartered Building Surveyor with 16 years’ experience working with heritage assets. This includes over nine years working for the National Trust across the Midlands and East of England Region along with also working in their National Renewable Energy Investment Programme Team. Following this, Stephanie worked at Castle Howard as their Head of Built Environment for four and a half years, managing their in-house Building team and delivering a wide range of conservation and visitor infrastructure projects across the site, in addition to managing the maintenance of their let estate portfolio and conversion of three of these properties into holiday cottages.

Stephanie is skilled in surveying, maintenance planning, design, specification, listed building and planning consent, feasibility studies, masterplanning and project management from inception through to completion. Her experience spans residential, commercial, mixed-use, adaptive re-use and heritage tourism attractions.

Stephanie has an MSc in Sustainable Heritage and is a trustee for the Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF). Stephanie was formerly a Guest Lecturer at UCL speaking on Renewables in the Heritage Context and is currently studying an MBA at Durham University.
