Evans & James were appointed to assist the client in obtaining planning permission in Bunny, Nottinghamshire for a steel portal framed agricultural store and timber stable building which was located on a small holding on green belt land. We developed the following documents:
- Proposed plans, elevations and roof plans
- Site plan
- Location and block plans
- Design and Access Statement
- Preparation and submission of the application form
Due to the location of the site the planning documentation had to be sensitively prepared with a robust justification for the agricultural need for the buildings. Planning consent was granted in September 2018 and the client subsequently appointed Evans & James to submit a further planning application for an agricultural livestock building and a hay store in 2020. This additional scheme included a proposal for installing photovoltaic panels to the roof structures to provide the power requirements for the site. This second application was also approved.
It is always a pleasure to work with repeat customers and we were thrilled to have two planning successes for the site.
